BFC Opens Doors to New Branch in Habour Gate

The Kingdom’s oldest leading worldwide money transfer and foreign currency specialists, Bahrain Financing Company (BFC), has opened its 46th branch today in the Harbour Gate within Bahrain Financial Harbour.

The branch is located on the 2nd floor of the Harbour Gate next to the main entrance and will be open 9am to 6pm, Sunday to Thursday offering BFC’s diverse range of fast and reliable international money transfer products, including EzRemit and MoneyGram, plus a choice of over 40 global currencies to buy or sell at market leading exchange rates.

The Harbour Gate is the commercial centre of Bahrain Financial Harbour, serving the needs of office tenants and visitors. It includes not only a wide range of food & beverage operations, but also many leading businesses and organisations such as the Bahrain Bourse. The Harbour Gate links both of the Harbour Towers, Bahrain’s premier business address for leading financial services firms and related services organisations such as Bank Alkhair, which is the parent company of BFC.

Commenting on BFC’s move into the Harbour Gate, Mr. Kashif Khan, General Manager of BFC has said, “We are always looking at opportunities to expand our network by opening branches in prime locations. Footfall is increasing as occupancy continues to rise in both the Harbour Towers and Harbour Gate and with the relocation of many representative offices of the Bahrain Investors Centre due to open, there will be a larger increase in visitors making the centre a key business destination.”

Moreover, the opening of BFC’s new branch corresponds with the MOIC’s move into their new location in the Harbour Gate which will occur in July, making it a destination for an even larger number of visitors and tenants.
